The Chalet Retreat Ministries
The Chalet Retreat Ministries is based in Roan Mountain, Tennessee. We exist to strengthen the households of God's people through rest, covenant, and Christ-centered church life.
Our work focuses on three things: providing rest for weary leaders and their families, supporting covenant marriage through retreat and community, and producing resources that help households read Scripture together as one story.
The Cosmic Kingdom: Reclaiming the Nations
This is the first in a series of standalone family Bible studies produced by TCRM. Each study is designed to be completed at the table, over six weeks, with the whole household present.
The Cosmic Kingdom explores the cosmic scope of Scripture: the Father's heavenly government, the three great rebellions, the rogue spiritual rulers who enslaved the nations, the courtroom verdict of Psalm 82, and the strategic campaign of Jesus to reclaim what was lost. The study ends with a call to understand the times we live in and to be found faithful when the King returns.
This study is designed for families, but works equally well for small groups, couples, and individuals who want to see the Bible as the single rescue mission it has always been.
How to Use This Study
Each week includes a full teaching passage, key concept definitions, family discussion questions, and a family response section that closes with prayer. The material is written to be read aloud at the table. No prior theological training is required.
Work through one week at a time. Give the content room to settle before moving on. Some families complete the study over six consecutive weeks. Others space it out over a season. Let the Father's pace, not a schedule, guide the rhythm.
